Information for Authors

Full Track Paper Submission

Submissions for the conference must be made as complete papers (there is no abstract submission stage) submitted as PDF documents through the EasyChair online submission and review system.

Full papers will be reviewed by the IPC and if accepted and presented, they may be published after the conference in a volume of the KES Smart Innovation Systems and Technologies series, submitted for indexing in Scopus and Thomson_Reuters Conference Proceedings Citation Index (CPCI) and the Web of Science.

Submissions must be formatted according to the instructions which can be found on the Springer website .. here ..

Papers must be submitted in PDF format for review purposes, but authors are required to upload editable word-processor files (LaTeX or MS Word) at the end of the review process.

The guide length for papers is 10 pages in publisher format. Papers longer than this may be subject to an additional charge. Papers much longer or shorter than the required length may be rejected, at the decision of the organisers.

Publication Files

When the PDF copy of the paper has been accepted you will receive an email asking for the publication files. At this point the following files are required:-
-- A full set of word-processor files for the camera-ready paper, in MS Word or LaTeX, including all image files necessary to fully reproduce it
-- A PDF copy of the full paper, made from these source files, with all comments and page numbering removed
-- A scanned completed copy of the Springer 'Contributor agreement' form.

When you upload the Publication Files (see above) you must include a scanned completed copy of the Springer 'Contributor agreement' form. The blank form will be available here later.

Presentation

Oral presentations will be 20 minutes in length, including 5 minutes for discussion. Oral presentations should be accompanied by powerpoint slides.
